How to choose the right current? The maximum load current should be 80% less than the circuit breaker current. For example, a 12V 100W solar panel with a maximum current of 8A will fit a 10A circuit breaker. A 15A DC miniature circuit breaker is suitable for a load current between 8A and 12A.
