48V Fast Printing The SKR 3 EZ motor voltage ranges from 12V to 48V (requires the EZ5160 Pro driver for 48V), while the SKR 3 operates from 12V to 24V DC. Higher voltages can significantly increase print speeds, which can be adjusted via a jumper. Furthermore, the SKR 3 has two standard fans, while the EZ version has three fans, ensuring smooth printer operation and improving print quality.

Secure Design to Prevent Misconnections. Improper driver installation can not only damage the drivers themselves, but also destroy the motherboard or cause a fire. According to our research, 40% of users may accidentally misconnect drivers. Our new SKR 3 EZ motherboards and EZ series controllers, with their unprecedented misconnection protection system, completely eliminate these risks, ensuring a safer and better printing experience! (Traditional TMC drivers are still compatible.)

Processor Updates: The new processor in the SKR 3 EZ controller has been updated to a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M7 series STM32H723VGT6 running at 550MHz, increasing the operating speed and printing accuracy of the SKR 3 controller by over 30%, while also reducing operating noise. The updated thermistor supports PT1000, eliminating the need for an external module.

Firmware: The SKR 3 EZ board is compatible with three popular firmwares: Marlin, Klipper, and RepRap, which are widely used in the 3D printing world. First, download the firmware file named "firmware.bin" from GitHub, copy it and save it to your SD card, then insert the SD card back in and wait 10 seconds. Once the status light stops flashing and the file name on the SD card changes to "FIRMWARE.CUR," the update is successful. Note: Our control board does not come with an SD card.
